The current creative director of the French haute couture house Schiaparelli, Daniel Roseberry, is a young and established gay designer.
The young openly gay designer and his long-time partner, Pierre Bergé, established his eponymous label in 1961. The debut collection was released in the spring of 1962. 52-year-old Dior died on October 23, 1957, with Benita by his side.
