His last musical work was the Blaster album with his band The Wildabouts.
Jamie, a photographer, was hired to shoot still images of him during the shoot. Weiland had two children with his second wife and later he married his third wife photographer Jamie Wachtel with whom he met during the shooting of the music video of the song "I'll Be Home for Christmas" and they tied a knot in 2013.

Stone Temple Pilots released the final self-titled album with Weiland in 2010 and toured with the singer until 2012. In 2008, he headed back into rehabilitation due to drug addiction and alcohol abuse.
Scott Weiland recorded four solo albums: 12 bar blues, Happy in Galoshes, A Compilationof Scott Weiland Cover Songs, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.
Location rules also omitted both Chicago’s The Smashing Pumpkins and Dinosaur Jr, who hailed from Massachusetts.
Regardless, STP broke out of California and quickly went nationwide with their debut album Core, which contained hard-rocking bangers like Sex Type Thing and Dead & Bloated. “I went backstage and after everybody left, we kissed — and that was it.”
Weiland was very excited about writing a new record with The Wildabouts. On the fall 2015 Blaster tour, guitarist Nick Maybury remembers the frontman talking about working on a new album once the band got home.
Later, in his memoir, he revealed the terrible experiences shocking everyone. He had a shocking experience at the age of 12. Following the divorce, in the same year in May, he married model Mary Forsberg. He was the son of Kent Kline and Sharon nee Williams, born on October 27, 1967. STP fired Weiland in 2013 and replaced him with Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington who left the band in 2015.
After escalating to fame as the lead singer at Stone Temple Pilots, he decided to carry on his solo career and in 2003 he joined the supergroup Velvet Revolver, a band made up mostly of former members of the legendary hard rock act.
He left behind a wife, two ex-wives and two children.
Fellow musicians came out to vocally offer their respect and regards to an artist they considered to be one of the finest of their generation. And that is if you asked me who I truly believed were the great voices of our generation, I'd say it were he, Layne, and Kurt."
Scott has been gone for nine years now, but his music is going nowhere!
Weiland published four solo albums before his death which made a significant collection.
