I’m looking for someone I can match with from a spiritual, emotional, and goal level. Can you picture your friendship being given to a man stuck in hell? We moved when I was 5 to Southern California were I grew up on the many beautiful sandy beaches/oceans and frequented every Amusement park in the state every weekend. While Black and Pink does not discourage pen pals from writing letters that are sexual in nature, the organization stresses that it’s important to disclose what type of relationship a pen pal is seeking early on, whether that’s strictly platonic or romantic.

So if your reading this hopefully you’ve seen one of my videos and wanted to get to know me. (Ask them what’s okay to discuss, and reach out to letters@powerblossoms.org with any questions!)

Do what works for you! At 16yrs old I was sent to prison for a very long time, if you want to know the store I will tell you.

However, you could also choose then to conclude your penpal friendship—or opt to start communicating with your penpal directly through the mail or a for-profit app like GettingOut.

Been down a year, now looking for financial support and someone who can send me books here and there.

Looking for someone preferably a white girl or Asian who can be empathetic to my situation. I’m looking for someone who is outspoken, someone who has a sense of humor. I’ve been incarcerated for several years and lack the companionship of a woman… a friend. Can you promise to hold off from judging me until the day when you really know me well?

I have an entrepreneur mindset. I’m not in a rush. Can I still be a penpal?

Don’t be so sure!

According to the National Center for Trans Equality, trans women are more than twice as likely as the average person to have spent time behind bars, and 10 times more likely to have been sexually assaulted in jail or prison.

The risks of incarceration are even more extreme for transgender people of color. I love to be spoiled and give my man all the attention he desires.

I’m 6’2″, 183lbs, light complexion and now growing my hair at the moment. My name is Bernard Jones, but most just call me Butch. More than anything, I’m focused on becoming a better version of myself.
