DIK (Dupont Italian Kitchen) gay bar & restaurant serves fresh Italian food and hosts karaoke nights in the heart of Washington DC's Dupont Circle area.

Friendly bar staff.

Event highlights include all-day happy hour Tuesday through Thursday, Wednesday Drag Bingo and Hot Dog Sunday (yes, that means free weenies).

The owners of Number Nine are also responsible for this stylish spot, sporting tall wood-backed booths, offbeat paintings and rooster-print wallpaper. A sports-themed menu of bar favorites includes stadium dogs, chicken tenders and burgers.

The community space and lively hot spot off U Street brings the energy, whether you prefer shaken, stirred or sassy.

Bold and unapologetic, District Eagle celebrates self-expression, moody lighting and unexpected connections.

If dinner and a drag show is your thing, Dupont Italian Kitchen has you covered. Currently expanding, Kiki will soon be unveiling a range of new bar spaces and cozy beer garden. This bar is part of Pitchers DC.

Lively gay bar in Washington DC. There's quite a "Cheers" vibe - a lot of regulars drink here and everyone seems to know everyone.

Best to get an Uber as it's located down an alleyway (matron!).

The downstairs area resembles a suburban living room, cozy and welcoming upon entrance, the perfect intro to the bar’s home-like atmosphere.

Down the stairs at the corner of 14th and U is Bunker, DC’s only LGBTQ+ nightclub.

The Fireplace is a lively gay dive bar in Washington DC.

Located in Washington's old gaybourhood, DuPont, this is the last remaining gay bar from that scene.

The drinks are pretty cheap, the people are friendly and the music is old school.

The food is classic Southern Americana. It’s not for the faint of heart: lights go off, clothes check is free, and anything can happen. Trade's "XL Happy Hour" is every day until 8 p.m. The polished neighborhood gem features plush leather seating, vintage charm, striking accents and “big gay cocktails” that show up and show out.

This pioneering gay sports bar, one of the first to open outside of Dupont Circle, hosts all sorts of events, like trivia and drag bingo.

Open 7 days a week. With four rooms of varied vibes, outdoor spaces and DJs that never miss, Kiki lives up to its name. Named for the owners' great-grandmother, the bar boasts dozens of TVs in the relaxed downstairs, and an upstairs patio dance floor that goes strong until close.

Number Nine comes to the bustling Logan Circle courtesy of co-founder Ed Bailey, who helped DC’s gay nightlife scene to grow during his days as a DJ.

Decked out in mirrors, leather banquettes and dark wood paneling, the lounge is perfect for nighttime socialization.
